Baby, Baby, Baby!

This weekend was truly a weekend of Baby! Ry and I decided to get the 3D/4D Sonogram done somewhere around 30 weeks which landed on this Saturday. We were debating a bit about wether or not to get the sonogram done because it isn't cheap but we decided we wanted one last peek before the big day. So on Saturday we gathered up a few of our favorite people and headed to 'Meet the Baby'. During the sonogram I was getting a little nervous about paying for this extra commercialized baby activity because Jona would not turn over or show up her face! I honestly think the first half hour the tech was telling her 'come on baby, turn over'. I literally heard that 40 times during the session! But as soon as I turned over on my right side and Ryan started talking to her she flipped right on over! Guess she's a daddy's girl already :) After flipping over, I thought the images were still a little jumbled and wasn't really sure if I was going to like how the photos turned out but after reviewing them last night we are really happy with the photo results. I know we will always cherish them and I'm really happy we decided to have the 3D/4D sonogram after all.

Soon after the conclusion of our appointment, we headed to BabiesRUs for a little baby shopping with Pappy and Yaya. (Ryan's parent's still don't really have their coined grandparent names, so I just refer to them as such). The guys were kind of ok sports about being at that store but YaYa and I had fun!

Once we finally made it home to S.Tampa to grab a bite to eat and relax it was time to head out the hospital tour of St. Joseph's Women's Hospital! I was pretty excited to get over there to see what this labor/ delivery set up was all about. Shortly after our tour began we realized the nurse conducting the tour belonged to Disney and somehow ended up here at the hospital. Ryan was laughing at this poor woman the entire tour. At least he wasn't the only dad cracking up! I just hope she isn't my nurse the day of delivery! I don't know how I would handle her automated responses during delivery! (I actually recorded a few things she said during the tour.. so ask me about it when you see me next). It was nice to see where we will be delivering and the routine of checking in, etc. It made the D-day a little less imminent, at least for now :)

Well, I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your spring. My hope is that all parts of the country are warming up for you all. I know Tampa is beautiful right now and we are enjoying the weather while its still cool. Love to you all!
